14/06/2013) Due to Twitter changing its way it integrates into websites on the 10th June 2013, twitter feeds have not been working on 60% of all websites, here at Fiddy D we have been developing the code to re-activate your tweets on your site.
In order to restore your twitter feeds you must follow the next steps:
Using twitter widget
1.) New twitter API requires you to setup the application before pulling the feed out. To achieve this, go to
and logging in with your twitter account.
2.) Click create new application
3.) Click to create the access token, then refresh the page.
4.) Fill the data into the widget
Once you have completed these steps, please send us the following:
- Consumer Key
- Consumer Secret
- Access Token
- Access token secret
Please send these to firstname.lastname@example.org
Your sidebar Twitter feed will then be activated. At Fiddy D we will need to amend some of the back end code to allow this to work as well as it did but cannot until we have your codes.
The Twitter homepage bar is now being recoded and we hope to restore this service to your website (if applicable) very soon.
If you have any issues, please contact your Fiddy D contact.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope to have all services resumed as soon as twitterly possible.
